THE NATIONAL BLACK ESTHETICIANS’ WEEK IS LIVE ON FEBRUARY 22, 2022
The third annual National Black Estheticians’ Week (NBEW) will be celebrated once again, during the last week of Black History Month, beginning Tuesday, February 22 and concluding on Monday, February 28.While NBEW has strictly been a social media celebration in the past, this upcoming celebration will be a virtual event with various speakers from the skin care and beauty industry.
This year, we will be raising donations for the Tanya A. Haman Melanoma Research Fund, in conjunction with the University of Texas Austin Dell Medical School, initiated by the Brown Skin Too Foundation, which was started by Tereska James, sister of Tanya A. Haman.
Supporting this Fund will go towards raising donations for education, awareness and the prevention of melanoma in the Black community.
